Lyudmila M. Oparina (1937–2006) was a respected engineer economist and lifelong learner who dedicated her career to industrial progress and her heart to her family. Raised in Eastern Siberia, she broke gender barriers in the workplace and served as a role model to countless women in technical professions.
Beyond her career, Lyudmila was a gifted storyteller, a devoted mother and grandmother, and a woman of deep compassion. Her memoir was lovingly prepared for publication by her family to honor her legacy and share her voice with future generations.
